The Clarkston Community Band (CCB), founded in 1890, provides the opportunity for amateur musicians to enjoy, once again, the pleasure of playing in a band under the Clarkston Community Schools Community Education Program. The membership of the band represents a broad spectrum of backgrounds including nurses, school teachers, engineers, housewives, students, and senior citizens. The band has a strong sense of community purpose and provides free musical entertainment.
Community members who play a concert band instrument are invited to join us each season and no audition is required! The cost to join is $50 per semester. The band continues it’s rehearsals for the 2021/2022 season with Shelley Rolland as our conductor and Paul Lichau as our guest conductor. We rehearse weekly throughout the school year on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at:
Sashabaw Middle School located at 5565 Pine Knob Lane, Clarkston, MI 48346.
Come join the band! All concert band instruments are welcome, especially trumpets, french horns, trombones and percussion!
