The Clarkston Community Band (CCB), currently under the interim direction of Angie Scheu, was founded in 1890. It provides the opportunity for amateur musicians to once again enjoy the pleasure of playing in a band under the Clarkston Community Schools Community Education Program. The membership of the band represents a broad spectrum of backgrounds including nurses, school teachers, engineers, housewives, students, and senior citizens. The band has a strong sense of community purpose and provides free musical entertainment.

We are saddened at the passing of our dear friend and long-time director Shelley Schwaderer Roland. While we grieve her passing, we also celebrate her lifetime of music making. Stay-tuned for opportunities to celebrate director Roland with the Clarkston Community Band.
The band continues rehearsals for the 2024-2025 season.
We rehearse weekly throughout the school year on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at:
Sashabaw Middle School located at 5565 Pine Knob Lane, Clarkston, MI 48346.

The cost to join is $50 per semester. Registration forms can be located on the "Registration Form" page.
Come join the band! All concert band instruments are welcome, especially trumpets, french horns, trombones and percussion!
